Nerve Savior Guides: Nerve Health, Vitamins and Smart Buying
The Nerve Savior guides cover three questions people ask before they try a nerve supplement: what is causing my tingling, which vitamins matter for nerves, and how do I judge a label and its reviews. Each guide links its sources. Start with the tingling and numbness guide if your symptoms are new.

Where to start
Which Nerve Savior guide should you read first?
Start with the question that worries you most. If your symptoms are new or getting worse, read about causes before you read about any supplement.
| Your question | Start here | Then read |
|---|---|---|
| Why are my feet or hands tingling? | Tingling and numbness guide | B12 deficiency and tingling |
| What actually helps nerve pain? | Nerve Savior vs neuropathy treatments | Alpha-lipoic acid trials |
| Could a vitamin be part of the problem? | Vitamin B6 and nerves | Metformin and vitamin B12 |
| I have diabetes. What should I do daily? | Foot care for diabetic neuropathy | Tingling and numbness guide |
| Is this label telling me enough? | Proprietary blends | Medicine interactions |
| Can I trust the reviews I see? | How to spot fake supplement reviews | Is Nerve Savior legit? |
Nerve health
What causes nerve symptoms, and what treats them?
Three guides on the cause of tingling, the options with evidence, and daily care.
Tingling and numbness guide
Common causes, from diabetes and alcohol to low B12 and thyroid disease, plus red flags and when to see a doctor. Read it first if symptoms are new.
Nerve Savior vs neuropathy treatments
A side-by-side look at Nerve Savior, finding the cause, B12 for a proven deficiency, foot care, prescription medicines and alpha-lipoic acid, with the evidence for each.
Foot care for diabetic neuropathy
The daily foot checks, washing, nail and shoe habits that public health sources recommend when nerves in the feet are affected.
About one-third to one-half of people with diabetes have peripheral neuropathy, according to the NIDDK (NIDDK, Diabetic Neuropathies). That is why so many of these guides start with blood sugar and feet.
Research
Which nerve supplement has the most research?
Alpha-lipoic acid does, and it is not in Nerve Savior. An evidence review found that 600 mg a day given by IV helped symptoms, while pills gave only minimal improvement (American Family Physician, 2016).
Alpha-lipoic acid for neuropathy: what trials show
What the trials tested, why the IV and pill results differ, and why no long-term evidence exists yet. Useful if you are comparing nerve formulas.
Guideline treatments for painful diabetic neuropathy are prescription medicines. The American Academy of Neurology guideline lists no dietary supplement (American Academy of Neurology, 2022).
B vitamins
How do vitamins B6 and B12 affect your nerves?
Both matter. Too little B12 harms nerves, and so does too much B6.
Vitamin B6 and nerves
Why high B6 over time can cause neuropathy, the U.S. and European upper limits, and why Nerve Savior's missing B6 amount matters.
B12 deficiency and tingling: who should get tested
Who is most at risk of low B12, what the blood test shows, and why testing beats guessing with a supplement.
Metformin and vitamin B12
How the common diabetes medicine can lower B12, and what to ask your doctor if you take it and feel tingling.
Try it
How much vitamin B6 do you already take?
Add the B6 from your other products and see where you land.
The NIH Office of Dietary Supplements puts the U.S. upper limit at 100 mg a day, and Europe's food safety agency set 12 mg a day in 2023 (NIH ODS, Vitamin B6). Nerve Savior prints no B6 amount, so the tool uses the most its place in the blend allows.
Smart buying
How can you judge a supplement label and its safety?
Two articles on what a label leaves out and how ingredients meet your medicines.
Proprietary blends: what the label hides
How a blend lists ingredients by weight with no single amounts, and how to estimate the most each one could be.
Ginkgo, green tea and medicine interactions
Ginkgo and blood thinners, green tea extract and the liver, and which medicines to raise with your pharmacist.

How do you spot fake supplement reviews?
Look at the source, watch for a burst of reviews in a short time, and check the reviewer's history. The FTC says you often cannot tell real from fake just by reading (FTC Consumer Advice, Online Reviews).

All articles
Where are all the Nerve Savior blog articles?
On the Nerve Savior blog. Every article starts from the label, links the studies it uses, and says plainly when the evidence is about memory or eyes rather than nerves.
- Nerve health: foot care and alpha-lipoic acid.
- B vitamins: B12 testing and metformin.
- Labels and safety: proprietary blends and medicine interactions.
- Buying: spotting fake reviews.
Our method
How are the Nerve Savior guides written?
From the label and public health sources, in plain words. We cite the NIH, CDC, FDA, FTC, Mayo Clinic and published studies, and we only claim what each source says.
They help you ask better questions. New, spreading or worsening numbness or pain needs a doctor's visit, whatever any guide says.

Next step
What should you do after reading the guides?
Write down your symptoms, list every supplement and medicine you take, and bring both to your doctor. Ask for a B12 and blood sugar test if you have not had them.
FAQ
Nerve Savior guides FAQ
What is the best guide for new tingling in my feet?
Start with the tingling and numbness guide. It covers common causes such as diabetes, low B12 and alcohol, lists the red flags, and explains when to see a doctor. New or worsening tingling deserves a medical visit before any supplement.
Which vitamins are linked to nerve damage?
Low vitamin B12 is the best-known vitamin cause of numbness and tingling, and too much vitamin B6 over time can also cause neuropathy. Low B1 and B6 are listed causes too. Read the B6 guide and the B12 testing article for details.
Does metformin cause B12 deficiency?
Metformin may significantly lower blood levels of vitamin B12, according to the NIH Office of Dietary Supplements. Low B12 can cause numbness and tingling. If you take metformin and notice these symptoms, ask your doctor about a B12 blood test.
What does proprietary blend mean on a supplement label?
It means several ingredients are listed under one total weight, in order from heaviest to lightest, without single amounts. Nerve Savior uses one 600 mg blend of 11 ingredients, so you cannot see how much B6 or B12 it holds.
Is alpha-lipoic acid better than Nerve Savior for neuropathy?
Alpha-lipoic acid has more nerve research, though pills showed only minimal benefit and the IV form helped more. Nerve Savior has no published trial and contains no alpha-lipoic acid. Ask your doctor before starting either one.
How can I tell if supplement reviews are fake?
Check who wrote the review, look for many reviews posted in a short time, and see the reviewer's history. The FTC says fake reviews are hard to spot by reading alone, and its 2024 rule bans fake and AI-written reviews.
Are the Nerve Savior guides written by a doctor?
The guides are written by the Nerve Savior editorial team from the label and public health sources. A licensed physician will be named in the review box once the medical review is complete. Until then, check any decision with your own doctor.
