Nerve Savior Side Effects, Ingredient by Ingredient
Possible Nerve Savior side effects come from its ingredients, and most are mild.
Ginkgo can cause dizziness, headache or stomach upset and may raise bleeding risk with blood thinners. High vitamin B6 over time can cause tingling. Stop and call your doctor if symptoms start.

The short answer
What side effects can Nerve Savior cause?
Nobody has published a study of Nerve Savior, so no one has counted how often its users feel side effects. What we can do is report what public health sources say about each of its 11 ingredients.
The whole blend weighs 600 mg, so most single amounts are likely small. But the label prints none of them. Three ingredients deserve the most attention: vitamin B6, ginkgo and green tea extract. The full list is on the Supplement Facts page.

Ingredient by ingredient
Which Nerve Savior ingredients have known side effects?
Listed in label order, heaviest first. The ceiling is the most each one could weigh by its place in the blend.
| Ingredient (place) | Most per serving | What sources report | Source |
|---|---|---|---|
| Himalayan pink salt (1) | Under 600 mg | Same basic nutrition as other salt; the US sodium limit is 2,300 mg a day | (Mayo Clinic, Sea Salt vs Table Salt) (FDA, Sodium in Your Diet) |
| Cinnamon extract (2) | 300 mg | Species not named; cassia contains coumarin, linked to liver problems in some people | (NCCIH, Cinnamon) |
| AGP choline (3) | 200 mg | Very high choline intakes cause fishy body odor and low blood pressure (upper limit 3,500 mg). One large observational study linked alpha-GPC use to higher stroke risk | (NIH ODS, Choline) (Lee et al., JAMA Network Open, 2021) |
| Bacopa monnieri (4) | 150 mg | Not listed in our sources | None |
| Lutein (5) | About 6 mg lutein | Not listed in our sources | None |
| Bilberry leaf (6) | 100 mg | Leaves may be unsafe in high doses or with long use | (NCCIH, Bilberry) |
| Vitamin B6 (7) | About 86 mg | Long-term high intake can cause sensory neuropathy | (NIH ODS, Vitamin B6) |
| Ginkgo (8) | 75 mg | Dizziness, stomach upset, headache; bleeding risk with anticoagulants | (NCCIH, Ginkgo) |
| Vitamin B12 (9) | About 667 mcg | No upper limit set; considered safe even at high doses | (NIH ODS, Vitamin B12) |
| Zeaxanthin (10) | 3 mg | Not listed in our sources | None |
| Green tea extract (11) | About 55 mg | Rare liver injury; contains caffeine; may lower atorvastatin levels | (NCCIH, Green Tea) (NIH LiverTox, Green Tea) |
"Not listed" means the sources we use do not describe side effects for that ingredient. It does not mean it has none. The label spells ginkgo "Gingko."
Vitamin B6
Can Nerve Savior make tingling or numbness worse?
It is possible if your total B6 runs high. The label does not let you check.
Too much vitamin B6 over months is a known cause of sensory nerve damage. The NIH Office of Dietary Supplements describes cases at doses under 500 mg a day, and Europe's food safety agency set its adult upper level at 12 mg a day in 2023 (NIH ODS, Vitamin B6). Australia now requires a stop-if-tingling warning on products with more than 10 mg a day (TGA Australia, Vitamin B6 safety update).
Nerve Savior's B6 is seventh of 11 in the blend. That caps it at about 86 mg per serving, but the true figure could be far lower. The risk grows when a multivitamin or B-complex adds more B6. Enter yours below.

Stop and call
When should you stop Nerve Savior and call a doctor?
Stop taking it and call your doctor if any of these happen. Bring the bottle to the visit.
- New, spreading or worsening tingling, burning, numbness, weakness or pain.
- Any unusual bleeding, especially if you take a blood thinner.
- Dark urine, yellow skin or eyes, or pain in the upper belly.
- Dizziness, headache or stomach upset that does not settle.
Call 911 for sudden weakness or numbness on one side of the body. That is an emergency.
Interactions
Does Nerve Savior interact with medicines?
Two ingredients have known drug interactions, and one common medicine changes how you read the label.
Yes, some of its ingredients can. Ask your doctor or pharmacist before you start if you take any regular medicine.
Blood thinners such as warfarin
NCCIH says ginkgo may raise the chance of bleeding in people taking anticoagulants (NCCIH, Ginkgo). Nerve Savior's ginkgo amount is not printed.
Atorvastatin and nadolol
Green tea extracts may lower blood levels of atorvastatin, a cholesterol medicine. High caffeine doses from green tea may make nadolol, a blood pressure medicine, work less well (NCCIH, Green Tea).
Metformin and acid reducers
Metformin may lower B12 levels, and acid reducers can block B12 absorption from food (NIH ODS, Vitamin B12). If you take them and feel tingling, a B12 blood test tells you more than a capsule can.

Order nowLiver
Can Nerve Savior affect your liver?
It is unlikely but possible, mainly because of the green tea extract. NIH's LiverTox rates green tea extract as a well-established cause of liver injury, based on more than 100 published cases (NIH LiverTox, Green Tea).
Injury usually shows up 1 to 6 months after someone starts the extract. Most people recover once they stop, but rare cases of liver failure have been reported. LiverTox found no clear link to dose, so a small amount does not rule it out (NIH LiverTox, Green Tea). NCCIH adds that about 5 to 15 percent of Americans carry a gene variant that may raise the risk (NCCIH, Green Tea).
Talk to your doctor before taking any product with green tea extract or cinnamon, including Nerve Savior. The label does not name its cinnamon species, and cassia cinnamon contains coumarin (NCCIH, Cinnamon).
Who should skip it
Who should not take Nerve Savior?
Some people should skip it or ask a doctor first. The label and the ingredient cautions point to these groups.
- Anyone pregnant, nursing or under 18 (the label says adult use only).
- People on a blood thinner, or on atorvastatin or nadolol.
- People with liver disease.
- Anyone already taking B6 in another product.
- Anyone whose tingling started suddenly or is getting worse fast. That needs a medical check first.

FAQ
Nerve Savior side effects FAQ
Does Nerve Savior have side effects?
No study has measured side effects of Nerve Savior itself. Its ingredients carry known cautions: ginkgo can cause dizziness, headache and stomach upset, green tea extract is a rare cause of liver injury, and high B6 intake over time can damage nerves. Stop and call your doctor if anything new appears.
Can Nerve Savior cause tingling in hands and feet?
It could if your total vitamin B6 is high, because long-term excess B6 can cause sensory neuropathy. Nerve Savior prints no B6 amount; its place in the blend caps it at about 86 mg per serving. Add up B6 from all your products, and stop if tingling starts or worsens.
Is Nerve Savior safe with warfarin?
Ask your doctor first. Nerve Savior contains ginkgo, and NCCIH says ginkgo may raise the chance of bleeding in people taking anticoagulants such as warfarin. The label does not say how much ginkgo is in each serving, so your doctor cannot judge the dose from the bottle.
Can Nerve Savior damage your liver?
Liver injury is rare but possible because Nerve Savior contains green tea extract, which LiverTox lists as a well-established cause of liver injury. Problems usually appear 1 to 6 months after starting. Stop and see a doctor for dark urine, yellow skin or eyes, or upper belly pain.
Does metformin interact with Nerve Savior?
No known interaction between metformin and Nerve Savior's ingredients is listed in our sources, but ask your doctor. Metformin can lower vitamin B12, which can itself cause numbness. A B12 blood test shows whether you are low, which is more useful than guessing with a blended supplement.
Will Nerve Savior keep me awake at night?
Probably not, but it likely contains a little caffeine. Nerve Savior includes green tea extract, and green tea contains caffeine. The extract is the last and smallest ingredient in the 600 mg blend, and the label prints no caffeine amount. If you are sensitive to caffeine, take the capsules earlier in the day.
When should I stop taking Nerve Savior?
Stop and call your doctor if tingling, numbness, weakness or pain starts, spreads or worsens, or if you notice unusual bleeding, dark urine or yellow eyes. Call 911 for sudden weakness or numbness on one side of the body. Keep the bottle so your doctor can read the label.
